We have two double rooms here at Glenview; the rooms are equipped with organic cotton bedding and organic cotton towels. Both doubles have en-suite shower rooms with powerful showers and ethical / Paraben free shower gels, shampoos and hand soaps. Hairdryers are provided in the rooms and an Iron and Ironing board is available free of charge on request. The rooms have full hot drinks facilities including fresh milk in a compact fridge. Fruit drinks, biscuits and fresh water are also provided. There are also flat screen TVs in both rooms, and Wi-Fi internet access available at all times (on request of security key for access).

The wall paints used throughout the house are environmentally friendly. We recycle everything we can, compost all food waste, use energy light bulbs and get our electricity from a ‘renewable energy only’ supplier.

We have achieved the ‘Walkers and Cyclists Welcome’ standards. This means we cater to the specific needs of these types of visitors.

We have three ‘Hardie’ secure wall anchors in the covered rear section of our house. These are solid steel and can withstand over six tonnes of force. So anyone bringing bikes can be sure that their bikes will be safe while they stay with us (you will need to
bring your own chains / locks though).

We have an area to dry off wet clothes and shoes, ready for the next day’s adventures. A packed lunch can also be supplied on request for an additional fee of five pounds.
There is a local pub at the top of our road which serves food at lunchtime and in the evening for anyone on foot, and then we are a short stagger back down the hill again!
